The transmitter is completely waterproof and is constructed from virtually unbreakable ABS plastic. All transmitters are factory coded with more than 16 million variations and operate with internal batteries with a five year life. The receiver is equipped with simple code learning circuitry that can learn up to eight transmitters per channel. The transmitter can be used where manual emergency signaling is required for applications such as lone working, personnel mangagement, security, patient care and remote equipment control.

Using the receiver output relays simple alarm options that can be controlled with a latched or timed alarm duration.

Claxons, security lighting, visual alarms such as a strobe or a telephone auto dialler can easily be controlled from up to a kilometre away.
