The Piccolo, weighing a mere 75g (including batteries) is ideal to enable a hard of hearing person to amplify significantly local sounds. The microphone is an unidirectional type that can be aimed at the source of sound, a TV or partner in conversation for example. Simply plug in the headphones supplied, switch the amplifier on then adjust the amplification to the desired level.
For people with mild hearing loss who do not use a hearing aid, this micro amplifier can literally bring back the joy of hearing.
