Alarms, bed leaving, bed sheet, epilepsy, baby door alarm, bed seizure
The Fire Centurion has been extensively tested to detect successfully operation of a commercial fire alarm sounder. The monitor is for use in hotel rooms that have a sounder fitted in the room. This is now a regulation so most hotels will have a compliant system.
A fire alarm sounder should produce 75db of sound detectable from the bed head. The Centurion (S) will detect such a sound while ignoring ambient sounds in the room such as TV, radio, people talking, arguing etc, up to a sound level of 85db measured at 1m range.
ACTIVATED BY ROOM SOUNDER.
Operation of the alarm is simple. The Centurion (S) is mains powered via a AC/DC adapter that is plugged into a mains outlet in the room. The warning alarm is positioned by the bed, then the vibrating pad is placed under the pillow or mattress.
No costly installation no wiring no decor damage.
WHAT HAPPENS IF THE FIRE ALARM GOES OFF?
If the fire alarm goes off, the Centurion (S) detects the sounder. The vibrating pad and xenon strobe operate to warn the deaf person. The alarm features battery back up with circuit monitoring indication for power failure or adapter unplugged and sound monitoring circuit failure.
